Dr Brynjar Halldórsson is an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology at Reykjavík University, Iceland. His research and clinical work focus on adult and child mental health, with particular expertise in anxiety disorders and obsessive–compulsive disorder. He is especially interested in the cognitive and behavioural mechanisms that sustain these conditions and in developing developmentally sensitive, evidence-based interventions. Dr Halldórsson collaborates extensively with international partners, including colleagues at the University of Oxford, to translate psychological science into effective clinical practice.
